Why we’re obsessed with it this month: February is the month of "thermostat wars." It’s freezing outside, but the sun is hitting the windows, and the temperature is bouncing all over the place.

  • The Solution: Most thermostats only know the temperature of the hallway they are stuck in. We use Remote Temperature Sensors.

  • How it works: You can tell your system to ignore the hallway and focus on the master bedroom at night or the conference room during the day.

  • The Bonus: By syncing your HVAC with your security arming status, you stop paying to heat an empty building. When you arm the system and leave, the "Smart Away" feature kicks in, automatically saving you money on your energy bill while you’re gone. It’s the ultimate win-win for your wallet and your comfort.

The Monthly Wrap-Up

What we saw in January: Last month, our community leaned heavily into Proactive Defense. We moved more clients away from "standard" cameras toward Perimeter Guard AI.

  • The Trend: People are tired of getting a notification after a package is gone.

  • The Fix: We’ve been busy setting up cameras that use "Loud Whistle" and "Flashing LED" triggers. When the AI detects a person lingering where they shouldn't be, the camera takes the first move. The feedback has been incredible: 2026 is officially the year we stop being passive and start being proactive.
