Guide 8: Correcting Date & Time Settings, How to Change the Date & Time on a DSC Keypad | ASI

Following a complete building power outage, your DSC system may lose its internal clock settings. Keeping the time accurate is critical, as it ensures your digital audit trails and employee access logs are perfectly time-stamped.

How to Set the Clock:

  1. Press [*] + [6] + [Master security code] OR use the [< >] keys to find the Time and Date option, then press [1].

  2. Enter the time in 24-hour format (for example, 4:30 PM is 16:30), or use the scroll keys to select it.

  3. Enter the date in MM:DD:YY format (For example, June 15, 2026 is 06:15:26).

  4. Press [#] to save and exit.
