Guide 6: How to Reset Your DSC Keypad and Clear Alarm Memory | ASI

If an alarm was recently triggered, your keypad holds onto that memory so you can investigate before clearing it.

  • View the Alarm History: Press [*] + [3] OR use the [< >] keys to see exactly which sensor triggered the event.

  • Clear Standard Alarms: To clear the memory and reset the screen, simply arm your system with your [security code], wait a moment, and then disarm it again.

  • Clear Fire Alarms: Commercial smoke detectors latch into an alarm state for safety. To clear a fire alarm history, press and hold the [Reset] button on the keypad for several seconds.
